There are many different layouts to choose from, with sizes ranging from 850 sq ft to 2,048 sq ft. All the units come with a nifty utility room – this is a great selling point as most apartments do not have a utility room. The utility room is a great place to store the extra chairs, the traveling bags, and all those things that could go into a storeroom. On top of that, there is a yard in all units regardless of size – another plus point because many new developments go without a yard which I find unsuitable for a real living space. The yard is useful for the washing machine, to store your broom, pails, and stuff that would not look beautiful in your kitchen or living room.

We took a glimpse of Gaia Residences during the exclusive preview in late March 2018. We viewed the show house of Gaia Residences which has since then been torn down. You can still view these in virtual format here – virtual showrooms of Gaia Residence.
What stood out? Gaia Residences is not your typical large space layout apartments. It features smart space utilization with a generously-sized yard for a decent laundry area and keeping all unsightly things away from the main living area. Alternatively, it can also be used as an extension of your cooking area for heavy duty cooking like stir-frying.
Below is the initial mock-up model of Gaia Residences. There are two blocks spaced apart by the facilities and car park. The retail shop lots are fringing the apartment, so residents can just walk over for a variety of daily conveniences. The Waterfront Village and Gardens Square is a leisurely stroll away, and so is the 50-acre pet friendly park cum lake.

The Kuang KTM station is one station away from the MRT Sungai Buloh – so when you arrive at the next stop, it is an interchange that allows you to hop onto the MRT. This is also the station that allows you to connect to both MRT Sungai Buloh – Kajang line (completed) and the MRT Sungai Buloh – Serdang – Putrajaya (Line 2). Residents can also drive to the Kuang KTM station and park & ride the KTM.a
Accessibility to City Centre
It may surprise you that Gamuda Gardens is actually very accessible to the Kuala Lumpur City Centre or the CBD (Central Business District). A leisurely drive from Gamuda Gardens to Mid Valley City takes approximately 40 to 50 minutes in the morning. As the township is beside the North-South Expressway, access via a dedicated ramp, your drive to Petaling Jaya or Mont Kiara can be just under 45 minutes. Time can differ depending on traffic conditions.

This township is located in Rawang / Kuang / Sungai Buloh. For access, there is a dedicated exit for Bandar Gamuda Gardens at the North-South Expressway by exiting Exit 115. After exiting the toll, there is a slip road that leads you to Bandar Gamuda Gardens. GUTHRIE Corridor Expressway and LATAR are also accessible. For those favoring public transportation, it is a mere 3km away from Kuang KTM station which connects the Sg. Buloh MRT station (just one station away) – which gives you connectivity to Kuala Lumpur City Center.
