Approximately 21 kilometers from Kuala Lumpur, Kajang is a town in the eastern part of Selangor and is the district capital of Hulu Langat. There are a few townships that has developed around Kajang, namely Taman Prima Saujana, Sungai Chua and Taman Kajang Perdana. There are also new high end developments in Kajang such as Jade Hills by Gamuda Land, Prima Paramount, Sri Banyan, Twin Palms and many more. The Kajang MRT station is a nice welcome to those residing in the vicinity as it boost connectivity to KL City Center and many other parts within Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.
The Kajang MRT is the last station of the entire stretch, starting from Sungai Buloh. It is an elevated MRT station located at Jalan Reko and Jalan Bukit and has an interchange with the Kajang KTM station. Similarly with the Sungai Buloh MRT station , the MRT platform is elevated above the current Komuter station and offers the convenience of switching between KTM Komuter and MRT. There are also connecting pedestrian bridges making access much safer for users of the rail network.
